PUBLIC WAREHOUSING

DeKalb Logistics service levels are achieved with dedicated employees working continuously to ensure that your public warehousing requirements are met. We provide long term, seasonal, or temporary warehousing for you and your customers product. Whether your needs require storage for one tire or one hundred thousand tires we will meet your warehouse needs. We own our facilities and take pride in them. We are able to provide clean, dry, secure immediate warehousing at below market rates.

IN-OUT SERVICE

• Inbound - Our associates are trained and tested in correct operation of all types of fork trucks, stocking patterns, product identification, labeling, quality control and facility safety procedures. They will be rewarded for finding damaged or imperfect product.
• Outbound - Our associates are trained and tested in correct operation of all types of fork trucks, trailer inspection, loading patterns, labeling, tire identification, quality control, and facility safety procedures. They will be rewarded for finding damaged or imperfect product. All loads will be inspected by a supervisor prier to signing them off.
• Notification – Shipping or receiving can be translated to us via our website on a secured move notification or by FAX.

STORAGE

• Floor Stocking - We can stock your inventory one two or three pallets high in are warehouse. The higher you go the less it cost per pallet.
• Pallet Stocking – We can also put your inventory in racking for  sensitive product

INVENTORY

• Real Time – your inventory is accessible only by you with a user name and password on our website. It is updated at the end of every business day.
• Bi-Weekly – Every two weeks we will forward to your office your current invoices for that period and a copy of you current inventory.
• Tracking – We will track your product by truckload, date of arrival, load number, and product code. We will maintain FIFO if you require it.

SECURED TRAILER STORAGE

• Loaded Trailers – We pin lock and pad lock all doors on trailers stored in our lot. The lot is fenced in with 8 foot cyclone, one foot barbwire, and electric gates.
• Refer Monitoring – At DeKalb Logistics we will monitor your trailers at intervals pre determined for your needs.

 

SECURITY

• Warehouse – We monitor every door in our facility for egress 24/7 and also have video surveillance at the loading docks.
• Storage Lot - We also have video surveillance on our lot and access to our property must clear traffic first. We know when your coming or going.
• Inspection – All loads, trucks and vehicles are inspected and paperwork confirmed before they are allowed to leave the facility
